My heart becomes shattered glass.
I cleave to stay in the memories of Idyllwild, leaning into it too much I twisted around a tree branch and let gravity bend me in.
It is so tangible now but soon it will be blurred, fall apart as time controls the weather, and who would know, the Cranston Fire.
In this vulnerability, I present to the nature that holds me for the loveliest four years of my life,
I present to the smells of drying pine needles and to the fogs and the squirrels.
